This is a delightful honey sure to please those traditionalists who want a flavorful honey with a surprising “zing” that lingers in your mouth. Sure, you can use it to sweeten your tea, but we also like to enjoy the floral accents undiluted. Great for topping a biscuit, bread, pancakes, oatmeal, or to compliment a wedge of cheese.
We harvested this golden honey after the spring nectar flow in which the bees visited wildflowers, and multiple flowering trees and bushes, including blackberries, apples, persimmons and wild cherries.
